Often a fall or hospitalization signals the beginning of a slow decline for an older loved one. Many caregivers typically see the situation as temporary—they put everything else on hold indefinitely. But often caregiving goes on for weeks—months—even years. How do you make space for the role of long-term caregiver when you have a job, kids, grandkids and other responsibilities in life?
